Some Scottsdale Spotlights!
While Scottsdale has many wonderful attractions, this is my last Scottsdale blog post for now. 😉 This post showcases photos and locations I haven’t had a chance to touch on. So, here we go!
A week before we arrived, Scottsdale had rain. There were unique (to me) flowers blooming everywhere!
And with flowers come birds! Yes, there are run-of-the-mill ones like crows and sparrows, but we also saw numerous hummingbirds. Fun! 😁
Scottsdale has three In-N Out locations, the chain that started a California craze. Delicious burgers and a “secret” menu. The burger above is “animal style.” I love it but prepare to wait quite a while in the drive thru line.
Public art is everywhere and makes it a beautiful and unique place! Loved it!
Oldest building in town (Rusty Spur Saloon), it has served many different functions.
History is celebrated! Western history is everywhere. Scottsdale has a great museum of western history. More about that in the future!
If anyone wonders where we stayed, it was a cute two-bedroom AirBnb across the street from the Fashion Square Mall. The host was great, the price was reasonable, and it was clean, fun, and comfortable. Plan as far ahead as you can. The early bird gets the worm! 🪱🐦⬛😉
And there’s more! There are beautiful golf courses, mountains to climb, and desert hikes to explore. There’s lots of shopping to enjoy if you’re so inclined. So much to do with a small-town feel! Now I know why people choose to winter in the area!
