Road Trip! St. Louis/Missouri Botanical Garden Chihuly Daytime Exhibit

So you may have learned that I am on a solo road trip this week. Another little secret about me is that I am a Dale Chihuly glass artist nut. Consequently, I was dying to see his temporary exhibition at the St. Louis Botanical Garden. After spending Sunday night and part of the next day in Boonville, Missouri (see previous post) I headed to St. Louis on I-70 and checked into a hotel in the middle of everything (more about the hotel later). On Tuesday I made a beeline (LOL! Get it?) directly for the botanical garden. Because the garden is so extensive and my knee sometimes gives me fits, I rented a mobile scooter for $30 and had a fabulous day scooting around the garden. (See - you too can do this, even if you can’t walk all day!) Below are a few things I saw. (More information about the exhibit in the next blog post)!
