As mentioned in my blog just previous to this one, my mom and I went to the Western Spirit Museum: Scottsdale Museum of the West yesterday and today and it was wonderful! During this post I’m going to focus on the courtyard sculpture garden. While it is small, it has mighty symbolic meaning. I’ll start with the walls. It may sound odd, but you’ll understand in a moment.

One wall is designed to look like a Saguaro Cactus.

One wall looks symbolically like basket-weaving.

One wall designed to symbolically look like a weeping wall.

A panorama of much of the sculpture garden - although it did distort the exhibit in front (Ponderosa Pine Saddle Bench-see original photo below).

Be sure to check back for more tomorrow. So much more to share!!!
