I have wanted to attend the world’s largest hot air balloon festival (the International Balloon Fiesta, held in Albuquerque, New Mexico each October) for quite a while. I love to stay in unique hotels when I travel so on a recent trip to Kansas City, I decided to try a highly-rated newer hotel I spotted on Trip Advisor. What I discovered is my new favorite hotel to stay in when in KC. It’s called The Aida KC.

The Salem of today touts both in a big way. Not only is it a great place to learn about colonial history, it also has become famous all things witch and supernatural related. And don’t even get me started on the town’s Halloween Festival.
