Eyes Will Sparkle at Lauritzen Gardens Bright Nights!
Last Friday evening I attended one of the Bright Nights events at Lauritzen Gardens. If you love any of the things on this list - beautiful lights and decor, toy trains, poinsettias, gorgeous flowers, festive food and drinks, holiday photo ops, outdoor games, visits with Santa, cheerful music, beautiful plants, or just celebrating the holidays this event is for you! My family and I are going closer to Christmas but I also wanted to go early in the event to take photos. It is GORGEOUS!

The indoor displays are featured in the main hall and also throughout both levels of the conservatory. Exhibits include lighted animals, butterflies, flowers, poinsettia trees, lots of decorative lights, and miniature trains running on tracks. There are several lovely and fun locations to take selfies or family/group photos. There are also outdoor games or you may make s’mores by buying an inexpensive kit. Both options looked like a bunch of fun. After December 1 (on select evenings), Santa will be available for photos in a beautifully-decorated igloo near the games and s’mores area.
This year some evenings will feature special offerings. For example, some nights are designated as Family Fun Nights with different themes. Click below for additional information.

J’s Coffee in the Conservatory will feature a special holiday drink menu. I can’t wait to enjoy a hot chocolate the next time I go with my family. Check out the menu below. ⬇️
It really is a beautiful event that the whole family will enjoy. Members get discounted pricing. The event operates select nights from now until December 31. Register early on their website for a timed ticket. Please note Lauritzen has implemented a new reservation system and all attendees will need to sign up in the new system to purchase tickets. The new system will have numerous enhanced features so I am pleased to see this.
Be sure to stop by the expansive and beautiful gift shop while you attend. You may be able to find some gifts for family and friends!
