Hands Down - The BEST Pizza in Milan!
I scream…you scream…we all scream for PIZZA!!! Well, most of us do anyway. 😉 I don’t know too many people who don’t LOVE pizza! And where is the best pizza, according to many folks? Italy!!! Mangia, Italia! 🫶
Across the street from my fabulous Milan B & B (K34 B & B), there is a restaurant that serves the best pizza I have ever had in my life. And, maybe you can tell (lol) but I have eaten a fair amount of pizza in my life. But I have never tasted anything like this fabulous pizza!
The restaurant is called Pizza e Sfizio da Gennaro. The restaurant is locally owned and started in 1960s by the Genaro family and was renamed to its current name when the son took over in 1972. In 2022 the grandson decided to join the business to carry on the legacy built by his father and grandfather.
So with that bit of history, let’s move on to the scrumptious food! There are many different kinds of pizza to choose from and since I don’t read Italian too well, I asked my server for his recommendation. By this time, the whole restaurant staff knew I was a travel blogger and let me tell you, did they roll out the red carpet! 🤣 BEST. SERVICE. EVER. Maybe even the best meal ever, but I would have to think about that for a bit.
The pizza was AMAZING! The crust was perfectly crispy, the sauce and the meat were so flavorful but the best part was the unbelievable cheese!!! I have never tasted such fresh, warm pizza with such quality ingredients before. Delicioso!!!
I had way more pizza than I could eat but I tried my best because it was just SO GOOD!
The staff posed for pictures and answered my questions with enthusiasm. They were true Italian gentlemen. 🇮🇹🍕🇮🇹
Even as I write this I am salivating. This experience was one of those “pinch me” moments I will never forget. I so want to go back someday! The restaurant happens to be rated very highly on review sites and it is no surprise why. Check it out for yourself if you are in Milan or travel to Milan. Seriously, it worth any extra effort! 👏👏👏
