At this time of year, many folks like to get in the car and take a short holiday road trip if the weather cooperates, especially if the destination brings out the magic of the holidays. Kansas City is one of those places for me! From a trip to Union Station to Cafe’ Sebastienne to Crown Center to The Country Club Plaza, Kansas City is a perfect place to spend some time at the holidays. I was lucky enough to spend some time there recently viewing a mile-long display of colorful Chinese lanterns at the KC zoo. It’s called Glowild and it’s available until December 30. Tickets must be purchased online ahead of time and please note this is a cashless event. Also note that wheelchairs and electric scooters may be trserv d ahead of time online for those that would like one. See the link and screen shot below for more details.
