Lauritzen Gardens Bright Nights
Last Wednesday evening my family and I attended one of the Bright Nights events at Lauritzen Gardens. If you love any of the things on this list - lights, poinsettias, flowers, good food, outdoor games, plants, or the holidays this event is for you!
Since we hadn’t had dinner, we stopped by the cafe, which is open with a limited menu on specific nights of this event. I had a great chicken Caesar salad, my husband had a club sandwich, and the kids had a wrap. There were yummy desserts available, but we were running a little short on time. Check the website for more specifics on the dates and hours of the cafe for Bright Nights.

The indoor displays are featured in the main hall and also throughout both levels of the conservatory. Exhibits include lighted animals, butterflies, flowers, poinsettia trees, lots of decorative lights, and miniature trains running on tracks. There are several lovely and fun locations to take selfies or family/group photos, which we took full advantage of, somewhat to my kids’ dismay. 😉 We didn’t try out the outdoor games or make s’mores due to time constraints, but both options looked like a bunch of fun.
It really is a beautiful event that the whole family will enjoy. Members get discounted pricing. The event operates select nights from now until December 31. Register early on their website for a timed ticket. Make plans to attend! It is sure to put everyone in the holiday spirit!
